This quick guide will explain how you can get the Fallen Hope Assault Rifle in The First Descendant (TFD). Fallen Hope is the perfect weapon to use with a poison-themed build. You gain increased Firearm ATK when hitting a Poisoned enemy. When Fallen Hope’s rounds kill a Poisoned enemy, they have a chance to explode, dealing damage to and inflicting Poison on nearby enemies. The downside of the Fallen Hope Assault Rifle is poor accuracy, so you’ll need to be careful when using the gun at longer ranges. Fallen Hope is especially highly recommended for our Freyna Build, due to its natural synergy with her Posion Skills.

How to Unlock the Fallen Hope Assault Rifle in the First Descendant

We will now explain the full process of obtaining the Fallen Hope Ultimate weapon in TFD.

Like all Ultimate Weapons in the First Descendant, Fallen Hope needs to be researched by visiting Anais in Albion. The research requires four components to be collected first. However, Fallen Hope is much easier to obtain than many other Ultimate Weapons in TFD – You don’t need to research all of the components individually, they just need to be looted. The locations of the components are listed below:

Fallen Hope Polymer Syncytium

Complete Border Line of Truth in White-Night Gulch (Normal)

Fallen Hope Synthetic Fiber

Complete Eye of Truth in White-Night Gulch (Normal)

Fallen Hope Nano Tube

Complete Altar in White-Night Gulch (Normal)

Fallen Hope Blueprint

Complete Lower Hatchery in White-Night Gulch (Normal)

As you can see, the only real barrier to obtaining the Fallen Hope Assault Rifle in the First Descendant is progressing the main story until you unlock the White-Night Gulch area. Once that’s done, you only need to complete the missions mentioned above, collect the required items, then return to Anais in Albion to research the weapon for 100,000 gold. The research takes 4 hours to finish.
