How to Play The First Descendant Esiemo
The First Descendant Esiemo is best played as a DPS character. He specializes in area of effect damage. He is also great at pre-stacking damage. You can place mines at enemy spawn points to instantly nuke them once they spawn. Most of his skills are focused on area damage, therefore his single-target damage is a bit lower.
Esiemo’s ultimate skill lets him charge forward, explode and knock back enemies. All enemies hit also get their buffs removed due to his madness state buff after the ultimate.
Esiemo is really all about area of effect damage. However, because plenty of the bosses in the intercept battles are huge it is often also easy to still hit all mines on the target. So you can do good single target damage if you spec him with the right weapons, but preferably he performs a lot better with AoE damage just blowing everything up.

Descendant Modules for our Esiemo Build
In this section, we will explain the recommended Descendant Modules for The First Descendant Esiemo Build.
Important! When equipping Modules on Esiemo, make sure that as many modules as possible are in a slot with a matching icon (top left corner on tooltip). This will half their Module Capacity Cost.
Your Module Capacity Cost limits how many modules you can equip, and can be upgraded as you level up your character. Different modules have a different Capacity Cost, which generally depends on how powerful the Module is. This is a balancing system to prevent players from only equipping the strongest modules and having a totally overpowered character.

Best Reactor Stats for Esiemo in The First Descendant
Your Reactor is a very important item that determines your skill damage and can also include extra modifiers that buff certain aspects of your build. The better your Reactor is, the more damage your skills will deal to enemies.
We recommend prioritizing using a Reactor with a high Skill Power and Sub Attack Power. Secondly, look out for a Reactor that buffs Fusion and/or Fire skills, as most of Esiemo’s skills fall into these categories. After that, look out for Reactors with a boost to your Skill Critical Hit Damage, which will improve the amount of damage dealt when you land a critical hit.
Another thing to look out for is an Optimization Condition that you can easily fulfill with your Esiemo build. For example, certain reactors require an equipped Submachine Gun to meet the Optimization Condition. Meeting the condition increases the Skill Power of your reactor, so it’s important to meet this whenever possible.
The name of a reactor can be determined by the following. For example a reactor with the name Tingling in it means it is good for anything that deals Electric damage.
Name
Type
Tingling
Electric
Burning
Fire
Toxic
Toxic
Frozen
Chill
Materialized
Non-Attribute
Mechanics
Tech
Singularity
Singular
Mixture
Fusion
Phase
Dimension
The First Descendant Esiemo’s attribute is Fire and his skills use the following types:
Fusion (Blast, Arche Explosion)
Tech (Time Bomb, Guided Landmine)
That means you want to pick a reactor with the following names:
Burning Mechanics: Boost to Fire and Tech type
Burning Mixture: Boost to Fire and Fusion type
Our The First Descendant Esiemo Build focuses on Blast and Arche Explosion damage. Therefore, we want to select a Burning Mixture reactor. However, any will do until you have a proper version of a reactor!
External Components
Finally, we have the best External Components for the Esiemo build in the First Descendant.
With your External Components, you will be somewhat subject to RNG, at least until you’ve played the game for long enough to find basically every possible combination with good stat rolls.
In general, we recommend prioritizing components with the following stats:
Max Shield
Max HP
HP Recovery
DEF
Esiemo’s Story in The First Descendant
The First Descendant Esiemo was enlisted to become a Descendant, his parents said these parting words as they embraced him: “Be proud of your Arche. No more tears. This officer here also needs to get back to work, okay?
No sooner had those words left their lips, the Bomb Squad in blast suits carefully collected Esiemo’s tears. Due to his unique Arche, even a single teardrop from Esiemo is a dangerous explosive.
Ever since he was a child, Esiemo was bullied by other children because his body would smell like gunpowder. Without the warm love of his parents, it would have been difficult for him to withstand the torment. Although his parents loved him immensely, once his sneezes started to cause actual explosions, as loving parents, they understood that they had no other choice.
At this rate, not only would they be unable to hide the suspiciously frequent explosions that were occurring in the Albion residential area, but their beloved neighbors, who they cared for as much as they did their child, would have to deal with the disruption in their daily lives. In the end, Esiemo’s parents reported his potential Arche ability to HQ, and the Magisters succeeded in uncovering Esiemo’s Arche though corresponding tests. The distinctive scent and excretions produced from his body were actually explosive Arche substances.
It was a miracle that no major incident had occurred so far. Now, not only was Esiemo isolated from the residential area, but as a Descendant candidate, he had no other choice but to leave his parents’ side. However, his parents embraced him tightly; they were proud of their son.
Esiemo, who had decided to accept his destiny, made a promise to his parents. Not only would he become an outstanding Descendant and the best son to them, but he would grow up and become someone who could love even those who had bullied him in the past.
Esiemo was confident. Exploding enemies, growing fame, and burning love. Is there anything better than explosions to achieve all of these at the same time?
