All Playable Races and Morphs in Throne and Liberty

Welcome to the playable races and morphs guide for Throne and Liberty. On this page, we will explain how morphs work in TL and list the currently available morphs.
Which Races are Playable in Throne & Liberty?
The only playable race in Throne & Liberty is human, while there are other races such as elves, dwarves and orcs in the world, you cannot have a character of these races.
However, while you cannot directly play as races other than human, there are many morphs that temporarily allow you to take the form of other races. Some of these let you take the shape of a Guardian to gain bonuses in combat, like the Brutal Warrior Valkarg morph, whereas others let you transform into a beast that cannot perform combat actions but gets a mobility boost, such as the ability to run faster, jump higher, fly or swim.
Morph Types in Throne & Liberty
Below are the various Morph types in Throne & Liberty.
Glide Morphs
Glide morphs allow you to transform into an animal that can glide or fly. This lets you traverse large distances quickly and safely by jumping from a high place and gliding gently down. Gliding is a great way to bypass obstacles and avoid danger.
Aquatic Swim Morphs
Swim Morphs let you transform into an animal that is good at swimming. They swim much faster than your character would otherwise be capable of.
Dash Morphs
Dash Morphs are animals that can run faster than your human body. You can transform into your chosen Dash Morph at any time in order to run faster, but doing this will prevent you from taking combat actions.
You still consume stamina when sprinting in your Dash Morph, and will become exhausted if you deplete your stamina entirely.
Guardians
Guardian morphs work differently to other morphs, since they can be used in combat and offer you temporary bonuses for fighting, depending on the Guardian you turn into. Guardians are not initially available but can be unlocked by completing tasks in the Codex.
Guardians aren’t technically considered a morph by the game, but we mentioned them here anyway since it’s a similar concept that allows for the temporary transformation of your character. They are quite a bit more complicated than the regular morph types, so we have a dedicated guide for Guardians that you can find here if you want to learn more.
