In this short guide I am going to show you the best location to farm Polymer Void Shards in The First Descendant. Polymer Void Shards are one of four Void Shard elements that you need to activate Reactors in the game.
Polymer Void Shard locations require you to have either unlocked Viessa, Lepic, or Blair because the best locations are either Chill or Fire. Any build with AoE damage will work fine. We recommend going with an AoE Viessa Build.

The best farming location for Polymer Void Shards is in the Fortress zone, Frozen Valley area. You can get 19 Polymer Void Shards per minute, so approx 1000 per hour. Additionally you will also get 4 IOrganic Void Shards per run.
We pick this location over others because we can clear. The mobs spawn in a tight area, which is perfect for any AoE build and Viessa’s AoE Ultimate. For weapon if you need one, preferably use Thunder Cage to deal massive AoE damage.
