Name: Banner Bearer
Type: Scribing Skill
DLC Requirements: Gold Road
Description: Bring out a banner to inspire yourself and nearby group members.
Radius: 8 meters
Cast Time: Instant, Toggleable
ESO Banner Bearer Scribing Skill requires you to have Rank 5 in both Alliance War Assault and Support skill lines. Once you have Rank 5 in both skill lines and have earned the Alliance War Skill Apprentice achievement, you can buy the Banner Bearer Grimoire from the ESO Scribing Vendor Chronicler Firandil found inside the Scholarium.
The Banner Bearer Scribing Skill adds an elite banner to your characters back and creates an AoE (Area of Effect) around your character that affects you, your allies and/or enemies based on the Scripts you chose. Its AoE effects only apply to you and 5 nearest group members at a time and the Class Signature Script effects only applies to the Banner Bearer caster.
Only one Banner Bearer can apply to a player at a time, determined by which banner was applied first. You always get your own banner.
Banner Bearer works similarly to the Guard skill and Sorcerer pets meaning it needs to be slotted on both bars, otherwise you will lose the buff when you weapon swap. You only need to activate Banner Bearer once to toggle it and it will stay on until you press the skill again. Keep in mind that while Banner Bearer is toggled on it reduces your Health, Magicka, and Stamina Recovery by 33% or by 40% if you choose the Immobilize Script.

How to get Banner Bearer Scribing Skill
To be able to buy the Banner Bearer Grimoire, first you you need to unlock Scribing by completing the Second Era of Scribing, Tutorial Quest. Secondly you need to level up your Alliance War Skill lines to Rank 5 by playing PvP content and gaining Alliance Points in either Cyrodiil, Battlegrounds or Imperial City.
Once you have completed the requirements, you can buy the Banner Bearer Grimoire from the Scribing Vendor Chronicler Firandil for 50,000 Gold (10,000 for alts).

Flame Damage
Increases damage done with damage over time effects by 6%. Reduce your Health, Magicka, and Stamina Recovery by 33%.
Immobilize
You cleanse yourself of snares and immobilizations and are immune to them while the banner is active. Reduce your Health, Magicka, and Stamina Recovery by 40%.
Magic Damage
Increases Magical damage done by 6%. Reduce your Health, Magicka, and Stamina Recovery by 33%.
Mitigation
Reduces damage taken by 6%. Reduce your Health, Magicka, and Stamina Recovery by 33%.
Multi-Target
Increases damage done with area of effect attacks by 6%. Reduce your Health, Magicka, and Stamina Recovery by 33%.
Physical Damage
Increases Martial damage done by 6%. Reduce your Health, Magicka, and Stamina Recovery by 33%.
Restore Resources
Reduces the cost of non-Ultimate abilities by 8%. Reduce your Health, Magicka, and Stamina Recovery by 33%.
Shock Damage
Increases damage done with direct damage by 6%. Reduce your Health, Magicka, and Stamina Recovery by 33%.

Cavalier’s Charge
Increase your Weapon and Spell Damage by 6 for every 1% bonus Movement Speed, up to a max of 450.
Class Mastery
Dragonknight: For each enemy within 8 meters, up to 6, you gain 50 Weapon and Spell Damage and reduce your damage taken by 2% plus 1% per enemy for 5 seconds.
Sorcerer: Enchant your closest pet for 5 seconds to heal a nearby ally for 303 Health each time it deals damage, up to once a second. If you do not have a pet, you deal 716 Shock Damage to enemies within 8 meters of you.
Nightblade: Restore 400 Magicka and Stamina if your target was above 50% Health. Increase your Critical Chance by 10% for 5 seconds if your target was at or below 50% Health.
Warden: Create an 8 meter area for 2 seconds under your target once every 8 seconds that snares enemies by 70%, and charms them for 3 seconds when it expires. If no enemies are charmed, you restore 1435 Magicka and Stamina.
Necromancer: Once every 3 seconds, increase your Health, Magicka, and Stamina by 2% for 10 seconds for each corpse within 12 meters, up to 10 times. While in combat, if no corpses are nearby, create a corpse.
Templar: For 5 seconds, you gain 1320 Armor and 150 Weapon and Spell Damage. If Sacred Ground is active on you, these values are increased by 50%.
Arcanist: Create a Crux.
Crusader’s Defiance
Reduce the effectiveness of negative snares by 30%.
Druid’s Resurgence
Increases Health, Magicka, and Stamina Recovery of other group members by 139.
Sage’s Remedy
Heals for 407 Health every 2 seconds.
Thief’s Swiftness
Reduce the cost of Sprint by 22%.
Warmage’s Defense
Grants a damage shield every 3 seconds for 3 seconds that absorbs up to 700 damage.
Wayfarer’s Mastery
You count as being in a PvP area for Battle Resurrection, reducing the time it takes to resurrect another player.
