This guide will explain how the Minzerok boss fight works, including all mechanics, attacks and the strategy for defeating this boss.

Minzerok is a level 50 boss. He can be fought in the open world or via the guild system. To find Minzerok in the open world, head to the Shadowed Crypt open-world dungeon. If your guild is level 17 or above, you can fight him via the guild hall.

Minzerok Mechanics in Throne & Liberty

Minzerok can be a tricky boss fight to begin with because there are some attacks that require very good reactions and precise timing to avoid. Below are the mechanics and attacks of the Minzerok Guild Boss in Throne & Liberty:

Expanding AOEs—Minzerok spawns AOEs on the ground. These start as thin lines but gradually expand. Keep an eye on them, and do not touch them.
Conal Cleave—Minzerok sends out a cone-shaped AOE, which is telegraphed by a cone-shaped area on the ground. Make sure to get away from this as soon as it appears, as it will do heavy damage if you get hit.
Black Hole—Minzerok disappears, and a black hole sucks everyone to the middle of the arena. You should counteract this by running towards the edge of the arena.
Deadly Wave—Immediately after the Black Hole mechanic, Minzerok summons a wave that will wash over the entire arena. Anyone who gets hit by the wave is killed instantly. You can avoid it by grappling up to one of the chains hanging above the arena. Use your flight morph to glide back down to ground level, ensuring the wave has passed safely before you land.
Soul Rip—After the Wave mechanic, Minzerok pulls the soul from a randomly selected player. If this is successful, he will gain a buff that grants damage mitigation and increased damage on his attacks.

Once you have survived all of these mechanics, the boss will begin running through them again, so the rest of the fight is rinse and repeat.

You might struggle with your first few attempts at this boss, but once you have learned how to navigate the various AOEs and mechanics with the correct timing, you will start to find it much more manageable.
