In this guide, we will explain how to defeat the Morokai boss in TL, including a description of all mechanics and boss attacks.

Morokai is a level 24 boss, making it quite accessible for newer players. It can be fought either in the open world or via the guild system. To find Morokai in the open world, head to Carmine Forest. If your guild is level 3 or above, you can instead fight Morokai via the Guild Hall.

We will now look at the attacks, mechanics and strategy for Morokai.

Morokai Boss Mechanics in Throne & Liberty

Below are the mechanics and attacks of the Morokai Guild Boss in TL:

Basic Attacks – Morokai hits the player with aggro with lightning zaps, regardless of range. Having a tank in your raid means that other players won’t have to worry about these attacks very much.
Fury Attack – Like most bosses in Throne & Liberty, Morokai has a Fury Attack that deals heavy damage unless it is properly blocked. Watch out for the purple indicator that appears on the boss and use it to help you time your block perfectly.
Purple Circles – During the fight, small purple circles will appear on the ground around randomly selected players. After about three seconds these players will explode with lightning – anyone else standing in these circles will take lightning damage. Therefore, players with the purple circle should move out of the group. After the explosion happens you can move back into the group. Some players might not know about this, so keep an eye out for other players with purple circles and avoid them if they stay near the boss.
Lightning Wave – This mechanic will only occur when the boss is below 50% HP. Morokai will shout something out and prepare to hit the entire group with lightning, dealing heavy damage and stunning them. You can avoid this by hiding behind one of the four pillars near the boss.

For the duration of the fight, Morokai will continue to repeat the above attacks and mechanics.

The mechanics are very simple in this boss fight, making it a great boss for beginners.
