  • Weapon Proficiencies – Daggers, Darts, Quarterstaves, Light Crossbows
  • Armour Proficiencies – None
  • Saving Throw Proficiencies – Intelligence & Wisdom
  • Skill Proficiencies – Choose 2 from Arcana, History, Insight, Investigation, Medicine, Religion
  • Spellcasting – You can cast spells and cantrips from the Wizard spell list. You will unlock more powerful spells as you level up.
  • Ritual Casting – You can cast a spell as a ritual if it has the ritual tag and you have it in your spellbook. The spell doesn’t need to be prepared.

Shock Arcanist Subclass – Solasta II

Shock Arcanists were the battle mages of the Manacalon Empire. Their teachings have survived the Cataclysm to become a renowned and feared magical tradition, taught in every major magic school.

Your Shock Arcanist subclass will grant you the following additional features as you level up.

Level 2

  • Arcane Warfare – When casting spells from the War list, they count as being cast at one slot level higher than the one you actually use.

Level 6

  • Arcane Fury – Add your proficiency bonus and Intelligence Modifier to your evocation spell damage for 1 minute. Recharges after a Long Rest.

Level 10

  • Arcane Shock – As a bonus action, you overcharge your mana and become restrained until the end of your turn. However, when you cast an attack spell, your damage dice are always above average. In return, you make a Constitution saving throw DC 14 and take 2d6 psychic damage if you fail.
  • Additional Saving Throw Proficiency – Constitution

Level 14

  • Greater Arcane Shock – As a bonus action, you greatly overcharge your spells, causing them to roll maximum possible damage. In return, you make a Constitution saving throw (DC 16), taking 7d6 psychic damage if you fail.
