DungeonGear role-aware gear and dungeon recommendations, right in the game.

Stop alt-tabbing to Alcast mid-dungeon-run. DungeonGear gives you a fast in-game answer to “what dungeon should I
grind for my role, and which pieces do I still need?” with curated meta picks for every role, class-aware filters,
complete build loadouts, and a personal gear collection checker.

Features

Seven category views Tank, Healer, DPS, Beginner, Monster, Overland, Trial. Each view lists hand-curated
meta sets with weight, trait, slot, and a one-line reason why the set matters.
Builds view 12 curated complete loadouts (e.g. Stamina DragonKnight DPS, Magicka Arcanist DPS, Any Class
Tank, Beginner Overland DPS). Each build expands into 4 rows: a header with summary + web link, plus the three actual
component sets (5pc body, 5pc jewelry+weapons, 2pc monster) pulled from the live data so you see dungeon source and
reason for every piece.
Collection view track any set (★ button on a row), then hit Collection to see a per-slot checklist of
which pieces you already own vs still need to farm. Scans your inventory, bank, ESO+ bank, and equipped gear. Uses
LibSets equip-type data so monster sets show only Head + Shoulders, not 10 irrelevant slots.
Inventory highlight tracked-set items get a gold star overlay in your backpack and bank. No more missing
that set piece you were farming for.
Loot notifications when a tracked set piece drops, DungeonGear plays a quest-complete sound and prints a
chat message.
Filters class filter (7 ESO classes), damage type (Stamina / Magicka / Hybrid), Meta vs All toggle (All
mode pulls the full LibSets library).
Live search type-as-you-go substring filter that works on every view.
Resizable window drag any edge or corner. Window position and size persist across sessions.
Build links each build row has a Link button that prints its Alcast guide URL to chat for copy/paste.

Usage

/dg or /dungeongear toggle the window
/dg tank jump directly to Tank view (also: healer, dps, beginner, monster,
overland, trial, builds, collection)
Click the Track button on any set row to add it to your collection watchlist.

Optional dependency

LibSets by Baertram unlocks “Showing:
All” mode (full set library) and precise per-set slot filtering in the Collection view. DungeonGear runs fine without
it; “Meta” mode and the curated data always work.

Data philosophy
DungeonGear.data is a hand-curated Lua table, not an auto-dump. Meta picks are sourced from current guides (Alcast,
Hack The Minotaur, The Tank Club) and can be freely edited between patches just open DungeonGearData.lua and
add/remove entries. Re-log or /reloadui to pick up changes.

Not in this release

No PvP / Cyrodiil / Battleground sets yet PvE focused.
No auto-refresh of Collection while inventory is open click Collection again after looting to rescan.
Build links open via chat (copy-paste), not a browser ESO addons can’t launch external URLs natively.

Feedback, corrections to meta picks, and PRs welcome. Meta shifts every patch DungeonGearData.lua is designed
to be the one file you edit.

Copy the whole block into the ESOUI “Description” field when you upload. If you want shorter copy for the “Short
Description” field (the one-liner that appears on the addon list page), use:
