Verditer (0.9.0)

Developed with AI assistance

Verditer records the damage coming at you and turns it into a clean timeline

Damage that reached your health
Damage swallowed by your own shields

It serves every role

Tanks reading sustained pressure
Healers checking their own survival
DPS understanding a death.

It’s the blue sibling of

Vermilion (outgoing damage)

Verdant (healing)

It uses the same engine

This is version 0.9.0 its first public release. It works and it’s been tested in real fights (Battlegrounds, veteran dungeons), but feedback is very welcome while it matures.

Metrics

DTPS Damage Taken Per Second. Damage that reached your health (rolling 5s window).
ABS Absorbed Per Second. Damage your shields ate.
ITP Incoming Total Pressure. DTPS + ABS combined. Shown live in the window header.

Views
Press Record, fight, then Stop to freeze and explore. Cycle with the arrows on the window:

OUTCOME damage that reached your HP grows up in red and damage your shield ate grows down in blue
TYPE incoming stacked by damage type (fire, shock, poison)
SURVIVAL your HP over time: green remaining, red lost this moment, grey standing wound.
SOURCE incoming stacked by attacker: who is killing you

Page through every death of the session, or reopen them anytime from the Deaths button.

Settings
The gear icon on the window opens the panel.

Sampling rate 1 to 5 Hz (how often the graph takes a sample)
Time window how far back the chart remembers (default 1 min)
Viewport alpha graph background transparency
Death Recap: On / Off turn it off entirely if you don’t want it (zero cost when off)

Recommended values
The defaults work for most setups: 12 Hz sampling and a 13 min window cover most fights. Verditer is built to stay smooth even at long windows and high sample rates it never draws more bars than the chart has pixels so you can push the sliders without tanking your FPS.

Usage
Type /verditer to toggle the window, or /verditer help for the list. A keybinding is available under Controls → Verditer, and a movable floating logo button can also toggle it.

Notes

No addon or library dependencies.
Per-server settings EU, NA, and PTS are kept separate for the same @account.
Combat-tracking concepts informed by LibCombat (Solinur), thanks for the inspiration.
The chart aggregation uses the M4 pixel-perfect technique (Jugel et al., VLDB 2014).
