Grid Pad a real grid inventory for gamepad players (1.0.1)
If you play ESO with a controller, you know the pain: one skinny scrolling list, one item visible at a time. Grid Pad replaces the gamepad inventory with a proper visual grid the kind console MMO players have wanted since launch designed entirely around the controller in your hands.
The Inventory
Your whole bag at a glance in an icon grid, with quality-colored borders, stack counts, and worn/locked indicators
Icon filter bar across the top cycle categories with LB/RB (always opens on All)
L3 toggles sorting between Item Type and Bag Order
A currency card attached under the grid: gold, AP, Tel Var, writs, transmutes, event tickets, bag/bank counts always visible
Mark junk (X), link items in chat (Y), everything on the keybind strip
Character & Item Info
A paperdoll character panel: equipped gear with quality borders and CP requirements, attributes, weapon bars
LT cycles an item info card: details → stats → off
RT opens a side-by-side comparison against what you’re wearing
Equip straight from the grid with A and on rings, hold A (~half a second) to equip directly into Ring 2. The keybind strip shows the hint whenever a ring is selected.
The Bank fully two-pane
Bank on the left, backpack on the right, both as grids at the same time
Focus decides direction: A deposits from the backpack pane, withdraws from the bank pane
Shared filters and sorting across both panes, per-pane paging, X switches panes
R3 buys bank space: Grid Pad steps aside for the game’s own confirmation, then snaps back automatically with your verified new total (ESO Plus doubling included)
Details that matter
Native gamepad UI chrome is cleanly hidden while Grid Pad is up and fully restored when it closes dialog-safe, zoning-safe
Settings panel under Settings > Add-Ons > Grid Pad (LibAddonMenu), plus /gpi slash commands
House storage intentionally uses the native UI
Requirements & notes
Gamepad mode only that’s the whole point. Keyboard/mouse mode is untouched.
