The Furnishing Vault, introduced with Update 46, is a new feature in The Elder Scrolls Online designed to help players manage their growing collection of home furnishings. Requirement: ESO Plus Subscription

The ESO Furnishing Vault is a collectible container type that you can place in your homes. It provides you with 500 inventory slots dedicated to furnishings. You can access the Vault within your homes by either interacting with a placed vault or through the Housing Editor’s Retrieve tab. The Vault is available for ESO Plus Members, bringing more value to the sub.

ESO Plus Lapse

Upon expiration of your ESO Plus subscription, you can still access and retrieve furnishings from your vault, but adding new items will be disabled. The vault will function as read-only storage until your subscription is renewed.

Maximum Furnishing Amount that can be stored Vault

You can up to store 500 different kind of furnishing in the Vault with each of them stacking to 65,535. Theoretically you can store a total of 32,767,500 Furnishing in the Vault.

Furnishings that cannot be stored in the Vault

You can not store Gemmable or Stolen Furnishings nor Grandmaster Crafting Stations.


How to claim the Furnishing Vault in ESO

The Vault Is found inside ESO Crown Store

ESO Furnishing Vault is available for ESO Plus Members. To claim the Vault, search for Furnishing Vault or navigate to the ESO Plus tab of the Crown Store and look for it under ESO Plus Deals. It will not automatically appear in your inventory.

If your ESO Plus membership lapses, you can still retrieve items from your Vault, but you cannot add more items to it (similarly how the Craft Bag works).


Accessing the Vault

Once you unlock the ESO Furnishing Vault, its functionality is available in the Housing Editor. The Vault, when placed in your home, counts toward your collectible furnishing limit. Being a collectible, the Vault can be placed in any of your homes, and you can access your stored furnishing from any of them without needing to place the vault furnishing itself.


How to use the Furnishing Vault in ESO

You can store furnishings in the ESO Furnishing Vault in several ways, mainly by directly depositing them from your inventory once the vault is placed inside your home. Secondly, you can utilize the Retrieve function within the Housing Editor to retrieve furnishings that are currently placed in your home. Note that your retrieval preference (Vault, bank, etc.) is remembered during your current login session and must be changed in the Housing Editor’s Retrieve tab. The new “Retrieve To” function is a base game addition that helps all players manage their furnishings better.

For easy management, directly interact with your Vault Furnishing to deposit or retrieve items. Remember, the Vault can only be accessed while you are within one of your homes.
