Next, let us take a look at an optimized Ancient Knight Build for The First Descendant. The Ancient Knight is best built with anything related to Multi-Hit because its ability enhances the stat even further.
It is important that you hit the weak point spots of colossus with this build, otherwise you won’t max out the damage potential of Ancient Knight.
Here is all the info you need to build a powerful Ancient Knight:
Ancient Knight Modules
Modules are an important part of every weapon build in The First Descendant. For the Ancient Knight we want to focus everything on Multi-Hit and Weak Point damage.

Weapon Readjustment
You can use the Weapon Readjustment at the Weapon Workbench in Albion. Here are the best Weapon Readjustments for the Ancient Knight:
- Multi-Hit Damage
- Multi-Hit Chance
- Weak Point Damage
- Fire ATK
In any order. Try to upgrade the Weapon Readjustments to at least purple quality.
Weapon Cores
Weapon Cores juice up your damage quite tremendously. However, especially the later-level Weapon Cores are difficult to get. So start with whatever weapon cores you have available. Weapon Cores drop in the Void Erosion Purge endgame activity.
Higher level Weapon Cores drop in the higher level Void Erosion Purge levels in The First Descendant. However, you can gradually work towards the highest level. I recommend trying to get to level six as soon as possible, since it won’t require to clear many stages and will already increase the power of your weapon tremendously.
Best Weapon Cores for the Ancient Knight:
Fire ATK (Free Augmentation)
Firearm ATK (Firearm Augmentation)
Firearm ATK (Firearm Augmentation)
Fire ATK (Attribute Augmentation)
Fire Rate (Tactical Augmentation)
Ancient Knight Lore Info
The Ancient Knight is the collective name for a series of assault rifles used by the early Descendants during the onset of the Apocalypse. These iconic weapons were made by disassembling holy relics guarded by the Knights of Humanity and implanting them into firearms.
From among them, the 47th model of the Ancient Knight, with its mechanical simplicity and superb durability, was very helpful to the early Descendants who were learning the firearm weapons system. The relic parts, which had a long history with humanity, also contributed to increasing the Arche synchronization rate. These weapons happened to match tactically with Serena’s Arche, which showed exceptional performance when optimized for aerial assaults. The exclusive winged ornamentation is a badge of honor, symbolizing this optimization.
The design of these relic weapons was an experimental attempt to make technology less intimidating to a humanity that was just beginning to radically modernize. It also helped to boost performance by harnessing the Arche that had accumulated, without their knowledge, in the relics over the years.
However, contrary to the initial intentions as a desperate stopgap measure, the relic implants performed far better than anyone expected and became the ultimate weapon system that could not be mass-produced today, due to the technology involved being lost.
