Description:
——————–
Andy (Addon Analyzer) is an Elder Scrolls Online addon that identifies malicious, stolen, paywalled, or ToS/EULA-violating addons. It monitors your installed addons and alerts you if any match a watchlist of flagged content and authors.
The current live watchlist (and full source code) is available here:
https://adefee.github.io/Andy-ESO/
This addon will be ported to console in the next few days.
Automatic Protection: Andy automatically scans your addons every time you load the game, checking for any new or updated problematic addons.
Manual Scanning: Run `/andy scan` at any time to perform a full analysis of your installed addons against the watchlist.
Customizable Alerts: Control warning sounds, banners, and notification preferences with simple commands. Suppress warnings until updates.
Community Driven: Our watchlist is maintained by community members. Help us keep ESO safe by reporting problematic addons.
Available Commands:
`/andy`: Show a help message that shows these commands
`/andy scan`: Manually scan for flagged addons
`/andy quiet`: By default (for transparency), Andy tells you when it runs. Toggle this off to only see messages when flagged addons are found (you won’t see messages if nothing is found).
`/andy suppress `: Suppress warrants for currently-installed flagged addons (until new addons are flagged or Andy updates)
`/andy monitor`: Toggles off suppression (re-enables the above warnings)
`/andy sound`: Toggles the warning sound (default on) played when flagged addons are found
`/andy announce`: Toggles the warning banner (default on) shown on screen when flagged addons are found
`/andy debug`: Toggles on additional logging, mostly used for development
