What Is “Hard Mode Reminders”?
Hard Mode Reminders does what its name suggests — it reminds the player to turn on hard mode in dungeons and trials.
When in a dungeon or trial and approaching a boss with hard mode content, a small UI will appear in the top-center of the screen.
This UI will tell you if you’re in Hard Mode, Veteran Mode, or if Hard Mode is Not Available (a previous hard mode boss was killed on normal veteran mode.)
A flashing “Not Hard Mode” message will appear on-screen if hard mode has not been activated
If the boss is fought on normal veteran mode, this message will disappear after 5 seconds of combat.
Still In Development and Testing
This add-on is still in testing and development, with many bosses untested
The “Not Hard Mode” message may appear at unexpected times
Please contact me as @Tagarn on Discord if you find a boss where the add-on is not behaving as expected
In case this add-on misbehaves, especially in a trial, you can enter the command /hmr stop into your chat window to stop it from doing any work behind the scenes. The add-on should no longer have any impact on your game.
You must reload UI to reactivate the add-on
A hotkey is also available for this function

Known Issues
Problem Bosses
For two bosses, the “not hard mode” message will appear during an initial trash pull. This will get fixed
Stone Garden / Exarch Kraglen (final boss)
Frostvault / The Stonekeeper (final boss)
This problem might also happen in Frostvault, but I haven’t tested it
Hel Ra Citadel: The Warrior
The add-on will not yet give a “not hard mode” warning until The Warrior is within range
Sanity’s Edge: Archwizard Twelvane / Chimera
If Exarchanic Yaseyla (first boss) is fought in hard mode, but the Chimera fight is fought in normal mode, the “Not Hard Mode” will reappear after traveling through a portal
This might be fixed, but there are not many testing opportunities.
Currently Disabled Bosses
Hard Mode Reminders does not yet work for some bosses (but will work soon) due to the ways hard mode can be detected there, or due to the mechanics of the fight:
Lucent Citadel: The Knot / Xoryn
Sanity’s Edge: Archwizard Twelvane / Chimera
