Hello, and welcome to my quick and dirty addon to download WinMTR, with a couple of wrapper scripts to run itSource of the binary (feel free to download newer versions of the tool, when available)https://sourceforge.net/projects/winmtr/I only include the x64bit version because ESO is only 64bit now.To run these scripts:start a command prompt (start-run or win-r)cd %HomeDrive%%HomePath%DocumentsElder Scrolls OnlineliveAddOnsWinMTRThen run one of the followingmtr_google.cmdmtr_ESONA.cmdmtr_ESOEU.cmdThis will pop up Matt’s Trace Route with a target. Start with mtr_ESONA or mtr_ESOEU scritps. If you find yourself with a lot of packetloss, try the mtr_google script second. If you are having ;packetloss trying to ping google, something is wrong with your connection to your ISP, or your ISP. Things of interestpacketloss to the target hostAvrg to the target hostnumber of hops (and possibly routing loops) in the pathIf packetloss for the target host is non-zero, then start looking up the routing list for other hosts with lots of packetloss.CAVEAT – routers respond to ICMP packets with the lowest priority in their CPUs. If they are running heaviliy loaded, they will not respond ;quickly or at all to ICMP, and may be false positively reported as slow or with lots of packet loss.
