Albion Cavalry Gun Modules
Modules are an important part of every weapon build in The First Descendant. For the Albion Cavalry Gun we want to focus on getting as much extra Critical Hit Rate and Damage as possible. If you want to experiment with other modules, I recommend swapping out Concentrate Support Ammo and/or Edging Shot, as these will have the least impact on the build among all other modules.

Weapon Readjustment
You can use the Weapon Readjustment at the Weapon Workbench in Albion. Here are the best Weapon Readjustments for the Albion Cavalry Gun:
- Firearm ATK
- Elemental Damage (Preferably Chill)
- Critical Hit Damage
- Critical Hit Rate
Try to upgrade the Weapon Readjustments to at least purple quality.
Weapon Cores
Weapon Cores juice up your damage quite tremendously. However, especially the later-level Weapon Cores are difficult to get. So start with whatever weapon cores you have available. Weapon Cores drop in the Void Erosion Purge endgame activity.
Higher level Weapon Cores drop in the higher level Void Erosion Purge levels in The First Descendant. However, you can gradually work towards the highest level. I recommend trying to get to level six as soon as possible, since it won’t require to clear many stages and will already increase the power of your weapon tremendously.
Best Weapon Cores for the Albion Cavalry Gun:
- Firearm ATK (Free Augmentation)
- Chill ATK (Free Augmentation)
- Chill ATK (Attribute Augmentation)
- Firearm Critical Hit Damage (Hit Augmentation)
- Fire Rate (Tactical Augmentation)
Alternatively, you could even go 3x Chill ATK or 2x Firearm ATK with 1x Chill ATK.
Albion Cavalry Gun Lore Info
When Albion first began fighting back against the Vulgus, they were lacking in many areas. The only people who could even fight in battle were the surviving knights and soldiers. Humanity only began developing weapons in earnest once the Magisters joined Albion. The Albion forces decided to form a Special Cavalry using the surviving knights to carry out high-speed mobile strike operations.
For these operations, a heavy machine gun that could be used atop a horse was first developed. The first version was much larger and heavier than the current version. Of course, mobility was not an issue when riding atop a moving horse, but on foot, its size and weight proved to be a problem. There were many times soldiers had to fully disarm and retreat. The Magisters conducted extensive research into this issue and ultimately succeeded in achieving a smaller and lighter weapon that could be used easily by anyone.
Because it was originally developed for mobility, even after its transformation, it continued to shine when used by a Descendant on the move. Since then, its appearance has not changed and it is still referred to as the “Albion Cavalry Gun.”
