Below is a small selection of Best Scribing Skill Combinations for ESO for Tanks, Healers, Damage Dealers, Solo Players, PvP and some fun stuff! Read the full ESO Scribing Guide to learn everything about the Scribing System, the Luminary Wing questlines and where you can get all the Scripts!

None of the skill combinations use class scripts to make them more accessible. You should customize the Grimoires effects based on the sets and content you plan to do, as many of the buffs/debuffs can be acquired from multiple sources. Each Grimoire has around 300 combinations you can create and all the scripts and grimoires have over 4000 combinations total in the ESO Scribing system!

Each of the skill examples can and should be modified to your groups need. Tanks in trials and dungeons might want different effects so remember to communicate with your group!

Leashing Burst

An AOE (area of effect) pull, great for trash in dungeons. Change the scripts based on your preference.

The Best ESO Scribing Skills for Healers

The Best ESO Scribing Skills for Damage Dealers

Damage Dealers don’t have many great picks right now for group content and the grimoires will not be replacing any spammable skill. The only skill that actually improves your overall damage is Venomous Knife. However, most other skills can also deal good damage but often there are slightly better alternatives.

In group content like Trials, the Warrior’s Opportunity script (8% increased martial damage taken) becomes very useful if the group has players that deal bleed, physical, and disease damage. Change the other Scripts based on your liking.
