ESO Dragonknight Skill Styles: All 13 Azure Blue Styles Showcased

Update 49 adds 13 Azure Blue Dragonknight skill styles to ESO, purchasable from in-game vendors for gold and Undaunted Keys. 11 Dragonknight skill styles are sold by Stylemaster vendors for 20,000 gold each.2 ultimate skill styles are available from the Undaunted pledge vendor Maj al-Ragath for 30 Undaunted Keys each.

These are the first class skill styles in Elder Scrolls Online available through in-game vendors rather than the Crown Store or fragment chases.

All 13 new Dragonknight skill styles in ESO use the Azure Blue color variant. 11 of them cost 20,000 gold each from Stylemaster vendors. Two ultimate skill styles cost 30 Undaunted Keys each from the Undaunted pledge vendor.

ESO Dragonknight Skills Without Purchasable Styles

Not every Dragonknight ability has a purchasable Azure Blue style in Update 49. The following skills do not have styles available from Stylemaster or Undaunted vendors:

Dragonfire Breath was available from the Class Style Pack: Tamriel United
Earthspike Mantle was available from the Class Style Pack: Tamriel United
Molten Weapons, Azure Blue were in the Gold Coast Bazaar on the test server
Magma Armor, Azure Blue were in the Gold Coast Bazaar on the test server

The Class Style Pack: Tamriel United styles were a limited-time free Crown Store bundle from December 2024 and are no longer available. All of these blue skill styles may appear in the Gold Coast Bazaar in the future.

How to Unlock Dragonknight Azure Blue Skill Styles in ESO

You don’t need to complete every Dragonknight skill line before you can start buying the Azure Blue Skill Styles in ESO. Each skill line has its own mastery achievement that unlocks its respective styles. Reaching Rank 50 in a single skill line lets you purchase the styles for that line immediately.

This is skill line rank, not character level.

The Dragonknight Class Mastery achievement also works as a blanket unlock for all Stylemaster styles. But if you only play Ardent Flame, you only need Ardent Flame Master.

Where to Buy Dragonknight Skill Styles in ESO

Dragonknight skill styles in ESO are sold by two different vendor types. Eleven styles are available from Stylemaster vendors for 20,000 gold each (220,000 gold total). Two ultimate styles are sold by Maj al-Ragath, the Undaunted pledge vendor, for 30 Undaunted Keys each.

Undaunted Pledge Vendor in ESO

The two Dragonknight ultimate skill styles (Dragonknight Standard and Dragon Leap) are sold by Maj al-Ragath for 30 Undaunted Keys each. Maj al-Ragath is located in the Undaunted Enclave in each alliance starter capital (Elden Root, Wayrest, Mournhold). These styles are not available from Stylemaster vendors.

Ardent Flame Skill Styles in ESO

Four Azure Blue skill styles cover the Ardent Flame skill line. These require the Ardent Flame Master achievement (Rank 50 in Ardent Flame) or the full Dragonknight Class Mastery achievement. The Dragonknight Standard ultimate style is sold separately by the Undaunted vendor. Chains of Flame is listed under Draconic Power.

A core damage-over-time ability in the Ardent Flame line. Searing Strike deals Flame Damage over 10 seconds with high per-tick damage, making it one of the more demanding DoTs to maintain in the Dragonknight rotation.

A massive AoE flame attack that fires a wave of fire in an 8-meter radius around you. The ESO Update 49 class refresh removed the original target cap, turning Inferno into a true area-melting ability at the cost of higher resource consumption.

Dragonknight Standard plants a battle standard that grants you and up to 11 allies increased Weapon and Spell Damage and reduced damage taken. One of the most recognizable Dragonknight abilities in ESO.

Draconic Power Skill Styles in ESO

Four Azure Blue skill styles cover the Draconic Power skill line. These require the Draconic Power Master achievement (Rank 50 in Draconic Power) or the full Dragonknight Class Mastery achievement. The Dragon Leap ultimate style is sold separately by the Undaunted vendor.

A close-range AoE immobilize that roots enemies in place with draconic claws. Dark Talons has been a Dragonknight tanking staple since ESO launched and remains one of the class’s best crowd control tools.

The Dragonknight’s primary self-heal. Dragon Blood now heals based on Max Health with scaling that increases as your Health drops. A good heal for tanks and solo players in ESO that gets stronger the more you need it.

A defensive knockback that pushes enemies away and reduces ranged damage taken by 50%. Wing Buffet also grants Major Expedition for 4 seconds on activation, making it both a defensive and mobility tool in ESO. Previously known as Protective Scale.

The Draconic Power ultimate. Dragon Leap sends you crashing into enemies with Flame Damage and a knockback. Update 49 rebuilt the movement system for this ability from the ground up, fixing long-standing desyncs. One of the most visually dramatic abilities in ESO.

Three Azure Blue skill styles cover the Earthen Heart skill line. These require the Earthen Heart Master achievement (Rank 50 in Earthen Heart) or the full Dragonknight Class Mastery achievement.

A single-target stun that encases an enemy in molten rock. The ESO Update 49 Dragonknight refresh reworked the timing to include a 1-second snare before the full stun connects, giving more counterplay in PvP while extending the stun duration to 8 seconds against monsters.

Do I need all three skill lines at Rank 50 to buy Dragonknight skill styles?

No. Each skill line unlocks independently. Reaching Rank 50 in Ardent Flame lets you buy the four Ardent Flame styles immediately. You don’t need Draconic Power or Earthen Heart at Rank 50 to purchase those. The full Dragonknight Class Mastery achievement (all three lines) also works as a blanket unlock.

Can subclass characters buy ESO Dragonknight skill styles?

Yes. If you’ve subclassed into Dragonknight skill lines and reached Rank 50, you can buy the Skill Styles.
