Blackened Moonstone Rivets lead location
The Blackened Moonstone Rivets lead for the Rakkhat’s Voidmantle Mythic drops from Rimmen Necropolis Public Dungeon Bosses in Northern Elsweyr.
- Lead drop Location: Northern Elsweyr, Rimmen Necropolis Public Dungeon Bosses
- Dig Zone: Solstice
Codex Entries for ESO Blackened Moonstone Rivets lead:
Verita Numida: Small rivets such as these secure pieces of armor. They are fitted through slots so the plates can slide past each other; for example, as part of a shoulder piece. The rivets seem to be ebon steel, so this could be from a set of Dwemer armor.
Ugron gro-Thumog: You are mistaken. These rivets are made of moonstone ore, subsequently altered in a blacking process. Moonstone is the signature alloy of Khajiit metalcraft, but I have never seen it treated in this way. A very rare find indeed.
Gabrielle Benele: Altered moonstone would not only look different, its mystical properties would also be changed. Blackened moonstone would lend itself to enchantments of shadow and despair. I suspect the warrior who wore this was a champion of darkness.
Darkheart Armor Glaze lead location
The Darkheart Armor Glaze lead for the Rakkhat’s Voidmantle Mythic drops from the Nightmare Plateau World Boss (Zalsheem) in Northern Elsweyr.
- Lead drop Location: Northern Elsweyr, Nightmare Plateau World Boss: Zalsheem
- Dig Zone: Solstice
Codex Entries for ESO Darkheart Armor Glaze lead:
Amalien: This is rather mysterious! A black, heavy oil of some kind, preserved in a bronze vial of Khajiit craftsmanship. It rather looks like midnight in a bottle. I suppose it is some sort of alchemical admixture or reagent.
Verita Numida: Midnight in a bottle? Poetic nonsense. This is a glaze used to finish ceramics or metalwork. If you examine the vial, you can discern the image of an ancient Elsweyr warrior. I am surprised by the absence of a moon motif, though.
Gabrielle Benele: The moons are not absent, they are in eclipse. Khajiit born under the Dark Moon are susceptible to the Dark Heart, which ensnares them in the Bent Dance. I suspect the warrior on the vial is a Fang of Lorkhaj, a terrible dro-m’Athra champion.
Darkheart Leather Cop lead location
The Darkheart Leather Cop lead for the Rakkhat’s Voidmantle Mythic currently has an unknown drop source.
- Lead drop Location: Unknown
- Dig Zone: Solstice
Codex Entries for ESO Darkheart Leather Cop lead:
Reginus Buca: An old, well-made piece of leather armor intended to protect the top of the shoulder. The flourishes appear to be Khajiit in design, likely dating back to the late First Era. I feel there is something sinister about the design.
Gabrielle Benele: Sinister, indeed. The embellishments represent a void with something missing in the center–the Khajiit myth of Namiira and the heart of Lorkhaj. I believe this armor was worn by a powerful dro-m’Athra, a Khajiit who lost their soul to darkness.
Amalien: There are obscure Twilight Cantor songs that tell of a dro-m’Athra champion or warlord called the Fang of Lorkhaj. According to legend, there is only one Fang at a time. I think this armor belonged to one of those dark champions!
Double-Moon Leather lead location
The Double-Moon Leather Cop lead for the Rakkhat’s Voidmantle Mythic currently has an unknown drop source.
- Lead drop Location: Unknown
- Dig Zone: Solstice
Codex Entries for ESO Double-Moon Leather lead:
Verita Numida: This appears to be part of an articulated leather shoulder-piece. The double-moon design is a common Khajiit motif. The dagger-like emblem dividing the moons suggests the kingdom of Anequina, first century of the Second Era.
Ugron gro-Thumog: The design may appear common, but the material is highly unusual. It’s terror-bird hide, which makes sense for the region. But it’s been steeped in a strange oil or reagent, something dark and strong. I do not know it.
Amalien: Armor treated with techniques our Orc expert doesn’t recognize? I think this arm cop was worn by a Khajiiti warrior who walked in dark places indeed. We’re looking at something made for a dro-m’Athra, my friends!
Nightwing Besagew lead location
The Nightwing Besagew lead for the Rakkhat’s Voidmantle Mythic currently has an unknown drop source.
- Lead drop Location: Unknown
- Dig Zone: Solstice
Codex Entries for ESO Nightwing Besage lead:
Ugron gro-Thumog: A leather besagew, part of a larger piece of shoulder armor. Specifically, the besagew is a plate protecting the armpit. Don’t be fooled by the bat-wing shape. It’s made of layered terror-bird hide. Old Khajiit workmanship, but an unusual motif.
Reginus Buca: I can explain the bat-wing design. In Elsweyr bats are sometimes associated with Namiira, their Great Darkness. Few Khajiit warriors would openly wear such a device unless they were devoted to the Bent Dance.
Gabrielle Benele: Benele There is a word for Khajiit who give themselves to Namiira: dro-m’Athra. The dark coloration suggests the black fur of a cat lost to the Bent Dance, and the light-blue highlight represents the pale fire glowing in their soulless eyes.
