FOX Metrica learns your personal baseline ping and uses it to deliver meaningful alerts for lag, jitter, and spikes. Flexible notifications. Minimal performance impact. Periodic chat reports you can trust.

Key Features

Personal Baseline Ping: Adaptive thresholding with modes OFF / AUTO / MANUAL. AUTO uses a quantile of your recent pings to follow your normal latency; MANUAL lets you set it explicitly. Baseline margin included to avoid false positives.
Meaningful Lag Alerts: Alerts trigger when your latency crosses the effective threshold (baseline + margin or your fixed limit).

Delivery styles: Alert, Center Screen Announcement (Small/Large), or Chat.

Spike & Jitter Awareness: Detects sudden jumps (configurable delta) and estimates jitter over a recent window.
Periodic Connection Reports: Posts to chat every 15 / 30 / 60 minutes: Minimum, Average, Maximum latency and Spikes count.

Generate Now button with a short cooldown to prevent spam.
Survives UI reloads/zone changes: the report period and cooldown persist; no unwanted resets.

Clean Settings Panel: Organized with LibAddonMenu-2.0, clear descriptions, and an accessible layout.
Low Overhead: Event-driven design, efficient sampling, and minimal footprint.
Localization: English and Russian included.

How It Works

Samples your latency at a configurable interval and keeps a short history.
AUTO baseline uses a quantile of recent pings (configurable window/quantile) and periodically recomputes to adapt to conditions.
Effective lag threshold = max(your configured threshold, baseline + margin). Alerts only when it really matters.
Health report accumulates stats across the selected period and posts a concise summary to chat.

Settings Overview

Sampling: Interval (ms), spike delta (ms), jitter window, etc.
Baseline: Mode (OFF/AUTO/MANUAL), quantile, window size, recompute frequency, margin.
Notifications: Enable/disable lag alerts, choose delivery style.
Connection Reports: Enable, choose period (15/30/60m), and Generate Now.
UI: Show/lock the small stats label; reposition it with drag & drop.
Maintenance: Safe Reset All with confirmation.

/foxmetrica toggle Show/hide the on-screen stats label
/foxmetrica reset Reset the label position to the default

Requirements

LibAddonMenu-2.0 (latest stable) install via Minion or ESOUI.

Performance & Compatibility

Optimized for low overhead and smooth gameplay.
Works with both keyboard/mouse and gamepad UI modes.
Saved variables are account-wide by default.
