Optimal Weave
OptimalWeave is a combat helper addon for Elder Scrolls Online that teaches you the proper timing of Light Attack Weaving the essential technique where you perform a Light Attack between every ability. It gently guides you by temporarily blocking abilities until you’ve executed a Light Attack during the global cooldown period.
Easy to Get Started
Download and install like any ESO addon
Open Settings → Addons → OptimalWeave
Choose your preferred mode (we recommend starting with Strict)
The addon works automatically in combat no complex setup needed!
Key Features (You Can Customize)
All settings are adjustable in the addon menu:
Weaving Assistance Modes
Strict Mode: Blocks all abilities during cooldown (best for learning)
Smart Mode: Allows queuing abilities only when no Light Attack is pending
Disabled: Turns off the addon completely
Class-Specific Helpers
Blocks Grim Focus (Nightblade) until you have 10 stacks
Prevents casting Fatecarver (Arcanist) before 3 Crux stacks
Stops accidental double-casting of ground-targeted abilities
Automatic Role Adjustment
Turns itself off when playing as Tank or Healer
Reactivates automatically when switching to Damage roles
Advanced Timing Control
Adjust for your internet connection (0-200 ms latency)
Customize cooldown tracking slot (action bar position 1 8)
Set minimum cooldown detection threshold
