HideResearchIcon

Hides the “can be researched” magnifying glass icon that the base game shows on weapons and armor. All other trait icons (ornate, intricate, retraited, reconstructed) are left untouched.

Features

Removes the magnifier from inventory, bank, vendor and crafting station lists
Works in the Guild Store (search results and your own listings)
Works in both keyboard/mouse and gamepad UI
Also removes the duplicate magnifier shown in the gamepad store sell list
No settings, no saved variables, no libraries. Just enable it.

Compatibility

Research Assistant: fully compatible. RA draws its own indicator and does not use the functions this addon wraps, so RA’s icons and tooltips are unaffected. RA’s own “Hide ZOs vanilla UI researchable texture” option can stay off.
Should work alongside any addon that does not replace the same two functions.

Optional dependency
ResearchAssistant (only affects load order).
