The Profit
The Profit is a personal guild-trading portfolio, stock, and profit tracker for
The Elder Scrolls Online.
It records purchases made through the standard guild store or AwesomeGuildStore,
imports personal sales through LibHistoire, monitors active listings, and matches
sales against recorded purchases.
Up to ten items can be tracked at the same time. The add-on provides separate
views for portfolio performance, purchase lots, personal deals, guild sales,
stock, pricing, and weekly trading statistics.
Features
Track up to ten items in a personal trading portfolio.
Record purchases submitted through the standard guild store.
Record purchases made through AwesomeGuildStore when it is installed.
Import personal sales from every guild through LibHistoire.
Monitor confirmed active listings and group them by guild.
Match sales against purchase lots using FIFO accounting.
Calculate current profit, remaining stock cost, projected profit, and ROI.
Compare recent guild sale prices for selected items.
Search available guild-sale history by item, seller, buyer, and guild.
Compare current and previous ESO trading weeks.

Views
Portfolio
Shows all tracked items in one table with remaining stock cost, portfolio share,
current profit, projected profit, and ROI. Select an item to view its forecast
price and projected result.
Ledger
Matches personal sales against recorded purchase lots using FIFO. Partial sales
and unsold quantities are shown separately.
My Deals
Displays a chronological history of personal purchases and sales. Entries can be
filtered by the current trading week, previous trading week, or all recorded time.
All Deals
Displays LibHistoire sale events available to your account for the selected
guilds. Results can be filtered by guild, item name, seller, and buyer.
Stats
Compares guild turnover between the current and previous ESO trading weeks and
shows seller totals, sale counts, and week-over-week changes.
Stock
Shows remaining tracked stock and confirmed active listings. Stock is calculated
from recorded purchases and matched personal sales; it is not read from the
backpack, bank, or craft bag.
Price
Shows recent sales for the selected item from the configured trading guilds.
The add-on uses this history to calculate a conservative forecast price.
Profit calculation
Current profit includes matched personal sales revenue minus proportional listing
fees, the trading-house cut, and all recorded purchase spending.
The full cost of purchased stock is counted even when part of that stock remains
unsold.
Projected profit adds forecast revenue for the remaining stock and subtracts
estimated future listing fees and the trading-house cut.
Usage
Right-click an item or item link and select Track in The Profit.
Use the following chat commands:
/theprofit open or close the main window.
/theprofit track track or select an item.
Click a Portfolio row to select an item. Hover the active item to display its
tooltip, or left-click it to open ESO’s persistent item popup.
Additional behavior can be configured under:
Settings > Addons > The Profit
Important data notes
The Profit begins recording purchases after it has been installed and enabled.
It cannot reconstruct purchases made before that point.
Market history depends on the guilds available to your account and the history
received by LibHistoire. The add-on cannot access guilds that your account does
not belong to.
General market history is not duplicated permanently by The Profit. LibHistoire
remains the source of guild-sale history, while personal purchases, personal
sales, tracked items, and accounting data are stored in The Profit’s
SavedVariables.
