Bankir (1.0)
Another banking management automatization addon.
This addon is kind of a spiritual successor of the legendary Bank Manager (Bank Manager Revived), it does same things in the similar manner, but does them differently. Although Bank Manager Revived is still maintained, it lacks some little things here and there, the things I need, or doesn’t do them the way I’d like. For example, support for unopened survey reports and unopened writs, separate “stacks” settings for each type of blacksmithing (and other) materials, etc.
So, what features Bankir has?
– Separated rule sets for bank, each housing coffer and each guild bank.
– Basically any item and item type rule has the “Max stacks” value, so you can set the rule to deposit only 1 stack of Iron ore but 10 stacks of Rubedite ore.
– Profiles. They are very similar to what BMR has. Profiles are character independent. Each character can use any settings profile, or can use the same profile as another character. The number of profiles is not limited (at least for now), just don’t forget that the settings use some memory and don’t create hundreds of profiles (nobody would anyway). However, Bankir uses much less memory for it’s saved variables file than BMR. A fresh and empty profile of BMR has like 26000 lines, Bankir’s file size depends on how many rules you set and which coffers and guilds you have, and a fresh and empty profile could be just 75 lines long in case you have no housing coffers and don’t participate in any guild.
– Some items have a “Min quality” setting (only glyphs for now, I didn’t need it for others). If you want do deposit/withdraw only blue/purple/gold glyphs you set the min quality to “Superior” so the white and green glyphs are ignored.
– Armor, weapons and jewelry have separate rules for items with Intricate trait, items you can research, companion items.
– Bankir will automatically withdraw items that are needed for quests. Just items as items required for quest, not as materials required to craft the quest item. For example, it will withdraw Ta rune for the “Acquire Ta: 0/1” part of the enchanting daily, but won’t withdraw the runes needed to craft a glyph ’cause the crafting stations already have access to your bank items. If some other addon withdraws the item before Bankir, Bankir won’t withdraw it (however, if Bankir withdraws it before the other addon, it’s the other addon’s responsibility to handle this case).
– Supports the unopened master writs and survey reports. Each type of master writ (blacksmithing, woodworking, etc) can have it’s own rule.
– Convenient tabs based settings interface :). Inspired by the Azurah addon.
Known issues:
– I have no ESO+ so I have no idea whether Bankir works correctly with the extended ESO+ bank space. I looked into the other addons to understand how they handle it and did same things but I can’t test it.
– Guild bank support is not full complete for now. It works and works fine, but it can’t handle not-full stacks very well yet. See, if you have a slot of Rubedite ore that is 56/200 in your guild bank and in the bag you have 2 slots (e.g., 122/200 and 200/200) and if you have set a rule for this guild bank to deposit 2 stacks of Rubedite ore, Bankir could move the 122 slot or the 200 slot, and you’ll get 2 slots in the guild bank, but they won’t be stacked together (You could get 56/200 + 200/200 OR 56/200 + 122/200, but ideally it should be 200/200 + 178/200). Bankir smartly handles these cases for the regular bank, moves exact amounts of items needed to fulfill slots to get the result of 2 slots fulfilled as much as possible, but the guild bank works differently in the game, and it’s a little bit harder to handle such things for the guild bank. Someday I’ll do that, but didn’t yet.
– Currency deposit/withdraw currently available for the regular bank only.
Bankir is not a typo, by the way. 😎
